Green Beans w/Cranberries & Almonds

You will love this quick and healthy side dish!  This simple side is also the perfect way to add color and flavor to your Thanksgiving menu!

Fresh Green Beans with Cranberries & Almonds

  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup slivered or sliced raw almonds
  • 1-2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil (I prefer to use Organic Cold Pressed Extra Virgin)

Total Time: 15 minutes, Serves 4

Clean & prepare your fresh green beans, snip the ends and set aside.  In a large skillet pan, add enough coconut oil to cover the bottom of the pan and heat over medium-low heat,  add green beans to pan and stir to coat green beans.  Stir occasionally until tender-crisp.  Add cranberries and almonds and stir until heated through.  You can adjust how many almonds and cranberries you want to your liking.  This recipe is really fool proof!
